The Finnish government has two different ministers who released proposals on the online casino gambling matter. They were revealed in the media despite the fact that no one knows what or who provoked such action.

The Minister of Culture and Sport Stefan Wallin recommended that Finland should reflect on debuting on the online casino gambling stage with a state-run online poker room.

"With the boost of online casino gambling, the number of players addicted to gambling will just raise, while firms based in tax havens benefit of most of the earnings. A healthier solution would be to permit one of our national lawful operators, Veikkaus or RAY, to take the conscientiousness for Net poker",

Veikkaus Roy and RAY, which are both owned by the state, declared they are ready to open and manage the proposed state-run online poker room. They are only waiting for Finnish government permission.

However, the proposal had an opposite, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health who declared: "household online casino games would only make the whole thing even easier for players addicted to gambling,"
